At least for once, we all think about it while snooping ourselves in front of the mirror and almost every one of us also knows that who is the elixir of life, beauty, and youth? Yes, it is water, but do you know the principles of consuming it? Every so often we repeat the same mistakes while consuming it.

Know three simple rules of drinking water to make the most of this magical gift of God.

Morning Call of Water

The consumption of a glass of warm water in the morning can make you experience magical outcomes.

Reason

Its first outcome is aroused gastro-colic effects. Second, it helps to remove intestinal waste.

Note: It's unimaginably beneficial if one takes lemon water instead of the plain.

Water Intake: Before and After Meal

Water intake during dinner
Water intake habits during meals matter a lot to the health

Consume water 15-20 minutes before and about two hours after a meal.

Reasons

  1. If we intake water during the meal, it dilutes the digestive juice, slowing down the churning process of food in the stomach. This practice results in hampering digestion.
  2. An abundant supply of water during meal leads to the distended stomach, which disturbs its tone.

Note: In case of no control over thirst, sip water little by little.

Eating Habits and Thirst

Consume a healthy and balanced diet; avoid salty, frosty or peppery food and overeating.

Reasons

  1. Salty, frosty or peppery foods arouse false sensations of dehydration, making one thirsty.
  2. In the case of overeating, the blood supply to the stomach increases, compromising other parts. It gives a sense of strong thirst, which is a false call of water in reality.
