Jallianwala Bagh Massacre

On 13 April 1919, a massive crowd gathered In Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar to support the non-violent, non-corporation movement that was led by Gandhi.

During World War I (1939-45), the renowned Indian leader Mahatma Gandhi led the foundation of the Indian Independence Movement.

Ideology of Gandhi

During that time, non-violent and revolutionary methods of protest stood shoulder to shoulder for making India a free nation. The people from both ideologies found their own ways better than the others. Undoubtedly, they both were significant and crucial for that time.

Gandhiji advocated and supported non-violent campaigns whose core strategy was non-cooperation. Later, this resulted in the movement of civil disobedience.

These campaigns continued for a long and eventually reached their destination.

It will frame any constitution, it will not be applicable to people living in this area and refusing to accept the rules.

The outline of partition manifested when Lord Mountbatten, the Viceroy of India at that time took action. Both the Muslim League and Congress agreed on the plan and the changes in the borderline gave two new nations to the world map — India and Pakistan.
