It had originated as Kipferls in Austria and shined as a French speciality.

This Austrian pastry made its name in France when a gentleman from a royal family tied the knot with Marie Antoinette and she requested a crescent-shaped cake that resembles her homeland. The way the French bakers fulfilled the demand of Marie, it became a gift for all of us in the form of a great buttery treat.

Let your inner baker wake up and make a breakfast pastry and celebrate Croissant Day. You just need to give some freedom to your hands to show some creativity with the pate Feuillette (soft flour), butter, milk, salt, and yeast.

Why is Croissant Day Celebrated?

We Love Pastries

Whatever age you belong to, pastry is a bakery item that is loved by people belonging to any age group. It has got something special in it which makes it one of your favourites from childhood.

And when it comes to a breakfast pastry, you do not need any single word further to convince you for giving it a thumbs up.

Whether it is a Sunday morning or any ordinary day of the week, it is so light in texture that even this reason is enough to give it a big yes.

It’s Buttery

Whether it is a pastry, rule, or simply a toast, they all have one thing in common which makes them your all-time favourite option. It is the butter in them which is a pro in triggering your saliva. What a feeling it is when it melts in your mouth!

And if it doesn’t, make sure that you have followed the right recipe.

It’s Fluffy

Croissant’s flaky layers unfold the dish in such a magnificent way that even if you have eaten it for the first time, you will become a fan of it.

It is indeed a delicious present that is light on your mouth and heavy in its impact on your mind.
